The Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed has congratulated the Oluwo of Iwoland, HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, on the 8th anniversary of his ascension to the throne, hailing him as a visionary leader.
Olawale in a statement signed by his personal assistant, Kolawole Olugbenga on Tuesday, recognizes Oba Akanbi as a positive influence towards a greater Iwo, stating that “Kabiyesi has shown a desirable appetite for development and progress of the ancient town since assuming the throne of his forebearer eight years ago”
In the statement, he also salutes the frontline traditional ruler for his sustained commitment to the peace, harmony and progress of Osun state and Nigeria as a whole, noting that Oba Akanbi symbolizes dedication to the advancement of Iwo town and its people.
“On behalf of my family, I warmly felicitate with my royal father, HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, on his 8th coronation anniversary,” Mallam Rasheed noted in a congratulatory message.
Mallam Rasheed who joins every sons and daughters in Iwoland in celebrating Oba Akanbi on his 8th coronation anniversary, added that “Kabiyesi have shown in this eight years the power of will for success as can be attested to by the visible transformations and the massive improvement in the identity of Iwo.”
“I pray that the Almighty God will continue to give you good health and wisdom to pilot the traditional affairs of Iwoland and offer valuable contributions to the development of our dear Osun state,” he added.
