Chairman of the House of Representatives Public Accounts Committee, Representative Bamidele Salam, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the Osun State Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr. Basiru Tokunbo Salami, lauding his character and contributions to public service.
In a message shared via his official Facebook page, Rep. Salam, who represents Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly described Dr. Salami as a “courageous and kindhearted politician” who has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to good governance and community service.
“Happy birthday Ẹ̀gbọ́n mi, Dr. Basiru Tokunbo Salami, Hon Commissioner for Special Duties in Osun State.
“Since we served together as Local Government Chairmen 17 years ago, I have come to admire your courage, forthrightness, commitment to good governance and community service,” Salam wrote.
The federal lawmaker also offered prayers for continued health and strength for the commissioner, acknowledging his years of dedicated service to the people of Osun State.
“I pray that God upholds you in good health and sound mind to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Congratulations, sir,” the message concluded.
