Governor Adeleke Mourns Exit of Mama Florence Oduniyi

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has mourned the passage of Chief Florence Aduke Oduniyi, saying that she lived a life full of impacts.

Governor Adeleke notes Mama Oduniyi’s open and accommodating nature, attracting both young and old to her side, noting that she will be sorely missed for the important roles she played in the life of many.

In a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, The Governor conveys his heartfelt condolences to the families of Oduniyi, Oriowo and Alo over the passing of Mama Oduniyi, urging them to take comfort in the knowledge that she lived an exemplary life defined by contributions.

“I extends my condolences to the families of Oduniyi, Oriowo and Alo on the touching exit of Chief Florence Aduke Oduniyi, at the age of 92 years old. Her life imprint an enduring memory of kindness and contributions, underscoring how much impact she made while alive,” Governor Adeleke noted in a condolence message.

“Mama Florence Oduniyi was a pillar of support, not just for her children, but her community and those who crossed her path. Her demise is a huge loss, and I share the pains of her family, both nuclear and extended.

“May God Almighty be pleased with her soul and grant her eternal rest and it is my fervent hope that everyone touched by Mama Florence Oduniyi s demise find solace in the fact of a life of many impact that she lived.”
