Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has stated that the Osun Special Economic Zone( SEZ) when fully completed, will boost the economy and industrial growth of the State.
The Special Economic Zone which sits on 250 hectares parcel of land located at Otagere, Ede will provide enabling environment for investments to thrive.
This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo during an official site visit to the Zone to inspect the level of work done on the site.
The Commissioner stated further that, the project when completed, industrial and business plots will be provided for investors in the Zone for development and operations of their various businesses.
He expressed deep satisfaction on the construction of Gate House and Perimeter Fencing ongoing at the zone.
Rev Jenyo reassured the contractor working on the site, Mr. Tope Mohammed of Tiosifab Nigeria Limited of the strong support and commitment of Osun State government to the complete fulfilment of the Special Economic Zone project.
The Commissioner was accompanied by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mrs Kehinde Odediran and other dignitaries.
