…as Ministry of Education monitors resumption of new academic session…
Osun State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole has admonished teachers in the state to deliver on their mandates, perform their duties diligently as there is need for an upscale in the performance of pupils in both internal and external examinations.
He stated this while on a monitoring exercise with a team from the ministry of education as the new academic session begins.
Hon. Eluwole while addressing the teachers said the Adeleke administration is so much interested in the business of education and wants it back to it’s former glory.
He further admonished the pupils and students to shy away from every negative influence and be serious with their studies as they are the future of this nation.
In his address, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr. Murtala Jimoh enjoined teachers to co-oporate with Governor Adeleke’s administration and their school principals as every lackadaisical attitude needs to be gotten rid of.
The permanent secretary further assured them that the issue of their welfare is paramount and measures are being taken to ensure that they are adequately taken care of.
Some of the schools visited were Ido Osun high school, Ejigbo Baptist high school, Unity school,Ejigbo Osogbo High school and Ataoja High school.
