The Spokesperson to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, has extended warm greetings to Muslims on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for answered prayers during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message to mark the celebration, Rasheed conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the spiritual exercise observed by the faithful, noting that the period of fasting and supplication has yielded divine blessings.
“With heartfelt gratitude and assurances of answered prayers from our supplications to Almighty Allah (S.A.W) during the holy month of Ramadan, Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum,” he stated.
He further congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of the fasting period, adding, “Eid Mubarak! Alhamdulillahi for our answered prayers.”
Rasheed urged residents of Osun State and Nigerians at large to sustain the virtues of patience, sacrifice, and unity imbibed during Ramadan, emphasizing the need for peaceful coexistence and continued prayers for the progress of the state and the nation.
