The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with a foremost industrialist, Prince Lawal Yusuf Obelawo, OON, on the auspicious occasion of his 95th birthday, saluting him as a visionary who build a business empire from nothing.
Governor Adeleke notes with pride Baba Obelawo’s story of triumph from a humble beginning, which not only reinforce hopes that hardwork don’t go in vain, celebrating his life of impacts and contributions to the economic development of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
The Governor praises the ingenuity of the Ejigbo-born elderstatesman in transforming ideas to opportunities and creating wealth by genuinely meeting the needs of the people, lauding him as a remarkable leader who inspires greatness.
“I join family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate an outstanding Nigerian, Prince Lawal Yusuf Obelawo, as he clocks the age of 95 years. From a humble beginning as a trader in Abidjan, Baba Obelawo worked his way to the top, navigated through challenging times to build a successful business empire to his name,” the Governor was quoted as saying.
Governor Adeleke who cherished the inspiration that the life of Baba Obelawo offers, particularly to young people who have their eyes at the top, commended him for his positive approach to life and the sustained interest in uplifting the downtrodden.
