The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC), has warned that it will not tolerate Imposters during the forthcoming Local Government Election on Saturday.
This warning was contained in an announcement made by the Commission, signed by the OSSIEC Information Officer Sadiat Isiaka, on Thursday.
According to the statement, any unauthorised media or observer team without an authorisation official jackets and tags of the commission will be treated as an impostor.
The commission added that such person will be handed over to security agents.
“Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) wishes to inform the general public that only media organisations and observers team duly authorized by the Commission, bearing the official tags and jackets provided by the Commission for the purpose of the election will be allowed access to the polling units, wards, local government areas of the State and the Central Collation Centre during the election scheduled for Saturday 22nd February 2025.
“Any unauthorised media or observer team without an authorisation letter, the official jackets and tags of the Commision will be treated as an impostor and will be handed over to security agents.”
