Governor Adeleke Celebrates Nephew, Davido On His Birthday

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated sensational hip-hop artist, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, celebrating him as a practical mark of what is possible with conviction.

Governor Adeleke hails the Grammy’s Award nominee’s passion to reach for his goal not minding obstacles on his path, noting that the trajectory of Davido’s rise and sustained growth in the music history showed discipline, dedication and hardwork.

The Governor who salutes the OBO crooner for maintaining the Adeleke’s Dynasty philosophy of helping the weak and uplifting lives, pointed out Davido’s record of mentoring and supporting talents to the top just as his consistent use of his God-given wealth to power hopes and dreams is well recognised and appreciated by the young and the old.

“A hearty birthday celebration to my son, David Adeleke (aka Davido). David is a manifestation of what is possible with a will and I cannot but glorify God Almighty for the talent residual in him and helping him to utilise it to the global stage,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in a congratulatory message.

“Every day, Davido show us what hardwork can do, spending hours in studios and stages to produce top-notch entertainment for his global fans. Davido is a treasure not only to the Adeleke family, but Nigeria as a whole, going by how much he unite people with his songs and inspire hopes in the people.

“As he marks a new age today, I acknowledge not just the collective consciousness that his music has energized, but also the hopes about the future that he inspires through his work and charities.”

Governor Adeleke prays for “his new age be blessed with good health and sound mind, while trusting God Almighty to continue to uphold him so that his creativity will continue to resonate with us, and as such, lighten up homes and bless lives.”
