In a reshuffle done recently by the Acting Inspector-General of Police. Ag IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egberokun Ph.D, NPM, a new Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG Paul Ojeka Odama, psc(+) has been posted and he has assumed duty at Zone XI Command Osogbo as the immediate past AIG. Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji, psc was redeployed as Force Secretary, Force Headquarters Abuja.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Police Public relations officer, CSP Ayeni Benjamin in Osogbo,on Thursday.
The statement reads;

The new AIG is from Yala Local Government of Cross River State.
EDUCATION.
He attended Christ the King Primary School Okpoma and Mary Knoll College Ogoja both in Cross River State.
He has a B.sc in Sociology – ABU Zaria.
PGD Management – UNICAL Calabar.
MSC Criminology – ABU Zaria.
MBA – UNICAL and he is also a Chartered Accountant.
CAREER AS A POLICE OFFICER.
AIG Paul Ojeka Odama, psc(+). Join the Nigerian Police Force in 1990 as Cadet ASP Course 16 member and learnt the rudiment of police work in Kebbi State Command. He worked as DCO Brinin Kebbi, DPO Koko Besse, Yauri, Sakaba Divisions. transferred to Zone 7 Abuja as O/C Federal Anti-Robbery and later transferred to Abuja FCT Command and became DPO Maitama, Lugbe, Kwubua, Buwari, Gwagwalada transferred to Kaduna State, served as DPO Brinin Gwari, Kakuri, Rigachuku, Angwaa Sanusi Divisions.

UN Mission at Monrovia Liberia and Supervised the election between Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and George Weah in 2005 and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf became the actual winner.
UN mission to Estimo, Indonesia in 2008, as District Commander, Oecusse, also known as Oecusse-Ambeno where he was the only black man posted as a District Commander out of 13 District Commands in that country.

Lagos ’87 athletics Classic-Decathlon which is for strong and all round sportsmen.
