- Vows to follow his political lead
In a powerful show of unity and political solidarity, the leadership and stakeholders of Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency have unanimously declared unalloyed support for the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, vowing to follow him wherever he leads, across any political platform.
The declaration was made during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting held at the residence of Elder Kolapo Lawal in Ila Local Government. The gathering brought together top political figures, party executives, elected office holders, and grassroots mobilizers from the three Local Government Areas that make up the federal constituency.
Addressing the gathering, the Federal Constituency Chairman, Chief M.O. Ogunwole, speaking on behalf of all party leaders, stakeholders, and members, praised Governor Adeleke’s exceptional performance in office over the past three years. He highlighted the Governor’s transformational leadership, people-centered policies, and unwavering commitment to the development of Osun State. Chief Ogunwole categorically stated that the constituency would support the Governor in all his political decisions, including any future realignments.
Speaking on behalf of the good people of the constituency, Hon. Clement Ademola Akanni (Olohunwa), Member of the House of Representatives, affirmed his total loyalty to the Governor, declaring that “Governor Adeleke has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he is a true servant of the Osun people. Whatever path he chooses, we will follow, because he represents genuine progress and hope for our people.”
The meeting was attended by a long list of high-profile leaders, including Hon. Dikhrulahi Akinloye Bajepade and Hon. Kashope Abolarin from the Osun State House of Assembly; Hon. Ayobola Fadeyi Awolowo, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Children and Social Welfare; and Hon. Moshood Olagunju, Commissioner for Youth Affairs.
Also present were the Local Government Party Chairmen — Alhaji Ganiyu Olaitan (Ila), Mr Olajire Osungade (Boluwaduro), and Mr Oyinloye Samson Adeyemi (Ifedayo) — along with the Executive Chairmen of the three LGAs: Hon. Aina Abayomi Adesina (Boluwaduro), Hon. Nasir Jaiyeola (Ila), and Hon. Kayode Atolagbe (Ifedayo).
Other dignitaries included Hon. Felix Olatunji; Hon. Tunde Badmus, Personal Assistant to the Governor on Political Affairs; all 31 elected Ward Councillors across the constituency; the 31 Ward Chairmen; various political appointees; local government executives; and Hon. Idowu Gbenga Adewole.
In a unanimous resolution, the stakeholders reiterated their commitment to Governor Adeleke’s second-term bid and assured him of total backing, regardless of political platform. According to them, his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, youth empowerment, education, healthcare, and social welfare have endeared him to the grassroots across Osun State.
The gathering concluded with resounding chants of “Imole till 2030 and beyond,” symbolizing the constituency’s firm alignment with Governor Adeleke’s vision and a pledge to walk with him on any political journey ahead.
