House of Representatives member-elect, Ila Federal Constituency, Hon. Clement Ademola Akanni (Olohunwa) on Sunday celebrated the Life and Time of Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, urges Nigerians to emulate his selfless Services.
I join the Adeleke dynasty, people of Ede, residents of Osun State, Nigerians and the rest of the world to celebrate the life and time of our patriarch, leader, mentor, role model and benefactor, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke who transited to the great beyond exactly Six years ago.
Six years seem like yesterday, but his legacy continues to live on. Although no grand cosmic signs may have heralded his passing like they do for a king, his impact on those who were fortunate enough to have known him is immeasurable.
SERUBAWON was a leader extraordinarie and a benefactor of immense value, who touched the lives of many through his acts of philanthropy. His love and kindness were contagious, and they inspired many to follow in his footsteps.
Adeleke’s contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape cannot be overstated. He was a visionary leader who was committed to the development of his community and his country. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the people he Governed and represented had access to basic amenities such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
He was a man of integrity, a great leader, and a role model to many. However, his legacy lives on through his contributions to Nigeria’s political history and the lives he touched during his time on earth.
Even though he is no longer with us, his character lives on in the replicates of him that he left behind. We miss him dearly, but we take comfort in the fact that his legacy continues to bring joy to many.
His good deeds are still being felt by the people of Osun state, as his brother, Ademola Adeleke, whom he mentored and inspired in the past is now the Executive Governor of the state and he carries on his legacy of giving and selflessness.
As we commemorate the sixth anniversary of his passing, let us remember Alhaji Adeleke for his selfless service, his dedication to the people of Nigeria, and his unwavering commitment to excellence. Let us strive to emulate his leadership qualities and work towards building a better Nigeria that he would be proud of.
May his soul continue to rest in peace.
