The Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has commended the philanthropic gesture of Mr. Ajao Alan Babatunde, an illustrious son of Ejigbo, for his continuous support to the needy on a monthly basis within his local government area.
This commendation was conveyed through the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Intergovernmental Affairs, from the Ministry of Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations, Hon. Mustapha Adisa Akintegbe “Builder Tegbe”.
Hon. Akintegbe described Mr. Ajao Alan Babatunde’s initiative, the AJAO FOOD BANK as a remarkable act of kindness that reflects genuine compassion and community spirit. The initiative caters for a large number of widows, widowers, women, elders, and other vulnerable members of society, ensuring they have access to food and essential supplies every month.
He stated that such a humanitarian effort is worthy of recognition and emulation, noting that “the greatest service one can render to humanity is to give selflessly to others, especially to those in need.”
On behalf of Governor Adeleke, Hon. Akintegbe appreciated the young, energetic, and hardworking philanthropist for his benevolent spirit and commitment to giving back to society. He further encouraged other well-meaning indigenes of Osun State to emulate Mr. Ajao’s example by supporting government efforts in improving the welfare of citizens across the state.
