Few days after the Hon. Minister of Interior, Tunji- Ojo approved the change in promotion guidelines to include mandatory Career Development Training, the Federal Fire Service, FFS under the leadership of Engr Abdulganiyu Olola Jaji on Wednesday flagged off training for it’s officers at the National Fire Academy (NFA).
The CGF in his remark encouraged officers to take the training seriously as only officers that pass the course that will be promoted to the next level.
He used the opportunity to congratulate officers who have over the years shown commitment and dedication as they will get special promotion as approved by the CDCFIB in its last meeting.
CGF was full of praise for the President Tinubu’s administration as he noted that the Minister has concluded plans to completely transform the National Fire Academy to meet up with international standards for training institutions in the emergency and fire sector.
The participants of the course are drawn from officers commanding state commands across the country and the participants were full of praise for the CGF for his innovative leadership.
