The Executive Chairman, Osun Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), Prince Adesola Adewumi has reiterated that it is the collective responsibility of all and sundry to build up the State IGR, charging staff and management of the Agency not to relent in their efforts as major stakeholders.
Prince Adewumi stated this during a meeting with all the Tax Station Managers and Career Heads of the Agency which was held in the conference hall of the State Internal Revenue.
He described the revenue agency as the financial bedrock of any State, therefore admonished the officers to endeavour to live up to their billings in shoring up the revenue base of the State in order to enhance Governor Ademola Adeleke developmental agenda.
Adewunmi therefore warned them to avoid pilfering, stealing and other negative tendencies that could jeopardize the core mandate of the Agency.
Present at the meeting were the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Revenue and Tax as well as all Directors and Assistant Directors of the Agency.
