●Commends Governor Adeleke, Seyi Makinde for Bridging a New United Front for the Party In Southwest
The immediate past PDP Chairman in Osun State Dr Akindele Adekunle has congratulated Barrister Kamarudeen Ajisafe (Kosolowoe) on his ratification as the new PDP Vice-Chairman in the Southwest during the Zonal Caucus meeting of the party in Ibadan.
He described the development as a forthright decision needed for the progress of the party in the zone following the demise of the previous holder of the position, Hon Soji Adagunodo.
” This is the time to unite the party on all front in our zone (Southwest). I strongly believe the wealth of experience of Barrister Ajisafe being a grassroots politician will come good in achieving this”
“With His ratification today by the entire Southwest chapters of the party, I believe the party will take more leap bound, as we will definitely be offering our support for his success in office by God’s grace”
“Moreso, I want to charge him to hit the ground running as he takes the mantle of leadership of the party in the Southwest, reconcile and ensure final end to all differences and warring parties in the different chapters of the party in the zone and most importantly, ensure victory for the party in the forthcoming 2024 Ondo state gubernatorial election” Dr Akindele emphasized in his congratulatory message.
The Chairman Special Adviser’s Forum in the Osun State government further commend Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and his Oyo State counterpart, Governor Seyi Makinde for bridging the gap and creating a new united front for the success of the party in the Southwest and Nigeria at large.
” What we witnessed today with the affirmation of Barrister Ajisafe as the new PDP Southwest Vice-Chairman has shown the incredible leadership the duo of Governor Adeleke and Makinde are providing for the party in the Southwest.
“They’ve proven to be leaders that will put the interest of the people and the party beyond any personal interest. This is a new lease of life the duo have breathe into our party in the zone, and I’m sure we will reap bountiful harvest of it in the forthcoming political seasons,” Dr Akindele reiterated.
