A popular restaurant in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State, Kaly Restaurant and Bar Lounge, has denied Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna entry to its facilities due to indecent dressing.
The reality star took to her X account late Sunday to share her frustration over the development.
According to her, she was turned away at the entrance after being told her attire did not meet the establishment’s dress code.
Phyna wore a black gown with a backless design that revealed her chest and cleavage.
Captioning a video of herself in the dress, she wrote, “So I went to have dinner at one CALI RESTAURANT Abi what they call the place 😂😂😂 omo they said I’m dressed indecently and I can’t enter o. WTF!!!!!”
The incident has, however, continued to elicit different reactions, with fans and critics weighing in on the matter.
While some supported the restaurant’s decision, citing the need to maintain standards, others accused the establishment of being discriminatory.
