The Director General of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Mr. Agabaidu Jideani, today received the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Nigeria, H.E. Miah Md Mainul Kabir, during his visit to the DG’s office at the ongoing Abuja International Trade Fair, which opened yesterday.
Welcoming the envoy, the DG outlined the Chamber’s activities and the objectives of the Fair. He noted that this year’s edition has attracted participation from over 28 countries, with more than 52 other foreign and international firms in attendance. He further disclosed that the Fair features over 350 exhibitors and is expected to draw more than 10,000 visitors over the 12-day period.
The DG also extended invitations to the High Commissioner to attend the upcoming Livestock Summit, scheduled for March 2026, encouraging Bangladeshi companies to showcase their products. He further invited him to the 2nd edition of the FARMFATECH Expo, slated for November 10th–12th, 2025, at the Velodrome.
As part of the visit, both leaders toured the Bangladesh booth, where the High Commissioner officially cut the ribbon to declare it open. The DG, accompanied by Dr. Tinuke Temitope, Director of the Business Entrepreneurship Skills and Technology (BEST) Centre, also visited other exhibition booths across the Fair.
