Governor Adeleke Salutes Former Deputy Governor, Erelu Obada, at 73

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with a former Deputy Governor in the state, Erelu Olusola Obada, on the occasion of her 73rd birthday, describing her as “a hallmark of loyalty and dedicated service”

Governor Adeleke, who celebrated the former Minister of State for Defence remarkable life of service and contributions, applauded Erelu Obada’s principles and straightforward approach to life.

The Governor, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed commended the celebrant for her steadfast devotion to the good of humanity and harmonious relationship among stakeholders, lauding her productive years of service as Deputy Governor of Osun State and Minister of State for Defence.

“On this auspicious occasion of her birthday, I join friends, family and well-wishers to congratulate a committed public servant, Her Excellency Erelu Olusola Obada. Her birthday is a moment to relish her selfless service which impacted several lives positively,” the Governor was quoted to have said in a congratulatory message.

“Erelu Obada embodies an unparalleled sense of commitment to responsibilities and even more endearing about her, is the unbroken resolve for excellence, which was manifested in the rewarding partnership with Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola for the seven-and-half month that the administration lasted.

“In her role as the Minister of State for Defence, Erelu Obada navigated complex terrains and played a crucial role in fighting off a monstrous insecurity problem that threatened the stability of Nigeria.”

Governor Adeleke prays for Erelu Obada to continue to enjoy the unfailing grace of God that has steered her up to this point while urging her to take the moment of her birthday to “reflect on her accomplishments and the positive impacts on the people over the years” to sustain service to humanity.
