Marking three years in office, Governor Adeleke’s administration has delivered concrete improvements that touch lives across Osun state. His tenure has not only brought visible transformation across sectors but has also rekindled hope in the hearts of the people. From infrastructure and education to healthcare, economic development and public service reforms, the Governor’s achievements speak volumes of commitment, vision, and action.

In infrastructure, the administration has delivered major dualised roads and flyovers including the Oke Fia, Old Garage, Akoda-Oke Gada axis and the completed Oke Fia flyover, while ongoing projects like the Ila-Orangun township road network and Lameco Flyover near completion. Over 300km of internal roads have been constructed across the 30 local governments, reducing the state’s road infrastructure deficit by nearly 50% and boosting economic movement across communities.

On the health and water front, more than 200 primary health centers have been upgraded out of a 400-target plan, and over 330 boreholes already delivered, bringing clean water closer to the grassroots. In education, 99 public schools have undergone renovation and equipping; the University of Ilesa is fully operational with accredited programs, and Osun State University projects once abandoned are now completed. Bursaries for students have returned, and over 10,000 youths have gained employment through initiatives like the Imole Youth Corps.

Economic empowerment under Governor Adeleke has been revolutionary. With ₦4 billion injected into cooperatives and the introduction of Osun’s first digital economy policy, the state’s ICT readiness jumped from 0% to 55%. In agriculture, 31 tractors were procured alongside the Imole Agropreneur Project, while reforms in the mining sector now protect the state’s mineral resources from exploitation.

The Governor has equally demonstrated deep commitment to worker welfare with a new ₦75,000 minimum wage, over ₦50 billion in pensions paid, and 29,000 retirees now enrolled in the state’s health insurance scheme. The public service integrity rating has jumped from 25% to 70%, with faster Certificate of Occupancy processing now guaranteed within 45 days. Osun has also made history with over 300 community development projects and a robust climate action plan, raising environmental preparedness to over 70%.

Indeed, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration stands tall, powered by action, grounded in compassion, and driven by a clear vision for a better Osun. As we mark this third anniversary, may the good work continue and may Osun State flourish under this leadership of impact and integrity.
