The newly elected Chairman of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Osun State Branch, Comrade Ranti Okerinde extends his appreciation to the Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Head of Service, Mr Samuel Ayanleye Aina, his newly elected Exco Members, Permanent Secretaries, Delegates from all MDAs and Parastatals, Unit Executives and most importantly the National body of the Association for the beurecratic roles they played in his emergence as the Chairman of the Association.
In a press statement signed by Com. Akinjide Akinlami State Secretary on Thursday at. the State Secretariat Abere the chairman thanked every stakeholder in his emergence while promising to run an all-inclusive tenure.
His words, “This tenure is going to be an all-inclusive one regardless of any members affiliations. Elections are over, and we have won, so we all go back to being one. No member will be victimized, ” the Chairman posited.
“Our affiliation to the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, Osun State Council as the vanguard Union remain unflinched,” the Chairman added.
When asked about his political affiliations in the State, he explained.
“We are a Union not a political party, even at that we understand that all humans are political animals in nature but we the Association will pledge our allegiance to any administration that treats our members right and since the government of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke proved worthy of our allegiance with all the wonderful welfare packages he has done for Civil Servants like the approval and payment of the just concluded Minimum Wage, we pledge our 100% support for him for his second term bid.
“We look forward to working with everybody to keep our members happy,” Comrade Okerinde concluded.
