Osun State Government Launches Training Program for Frontline Health Workers

The Honourable Commissioner for Health, Barrister Jola Akintola, on behalf of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, has declared open a training program for frontline health workers in the state. The program aims to refresh and build the capacity of health workers at primary health care centers for effective and quality integrated PHC service delivery to the people of Osun State.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Barrister Jola Akintola emphasized the importance of quality primary health care service delivery to the people of the state. “We recognize the power of love and care in healing, but also acknowledge that excessive love can be a burden. Our goal is to strike a balance and provide the best possible care to those in need,” said Akintola.

The training program is supported by Jhpiego and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA)
