Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has reiterated that the progress and achievements of his administration are influenced by prayers and commitment which are driving positive change across Osun State.
The Governor stated this during a courtesy visit by The Church of the Lord Worldwide Led by Primate of the Church, His Holiness, The Most Rev. (Dr) Rufus Okikiola Ositelu, at the Governor’s Office in Osogbo.
According to the Governor, he has performed beyond people’s expectations and because of his love for dancing and singing, they thought he couldn’t succeed.
He however, urged the Religious leaders to keep praying for him, the state and Nigeria as a whole, as prayers have been his main backbone.
“Please continue to pray for us and Nigeria. The way I came into this government was very tough. People thought I couldn’t do anything because of the way I normally dance,”
. “But they are now surprised by all the good works God has helped me to perform in this state. With prayers and purpose, we are changing Osun.”
Earlier in his remarks, Primate Ositelu commended the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke while announcing that the Church of the Lord Worldwide will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in November.
“We have seen how focused and successful you are, commending Governor Adeleke’s leadership, we are praying, and we will continue praying for you,”
“Church of the Lord Worldwide will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in November this year” he added.
