The Newsflash by Osundefender.com by Kazeem Badmus published November 30, 2023 is a misinformation and an incorrect story.
There was no fire outbreak at the Accident and Emergency Unit of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo. There was actually an electrical power surge at the switch box of the Accident and Emergency department of the Hospital this morning which has been immediately rectified by the Works and Maintenance Department of the Hospital.
The incidence did not result in fire outbreak as reported by the Osun Defender and no patient or staff was affected in any way.
We implore the press, especially Osun Defenders, to always get its facts before publishing.
