Osun Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Barrister Dosu Babatunde, popularly known as ENI ARI has given a sum of Two Million Naira (#2,000,000) to be shared among the 4 local governments (Ilesa West, Ilesa East, Atakunmosa West and Atakunmosa East) of Ijesa South Federal Constituency at the rate of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (#500,000) each. This kind hearted cash gift is to be shared among the party members of the Federal Constituency.
The cash gift had already been paid into the accounts of the party chairmen of the four local governments. ENI ARI claimed it’s necessary for him to do this as a form of celebrating the year 2024 Xmas and New Year festivities with his fellow party faithfuls, especially during this period of economic downturn.
He charges the PDP members in Ijesa South to be more committed to the activities of the party. He appreciated their steadfastness, resilience and continued support towards the administration of His Excellency, Asiwaju Senator (Dr) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
He enjoins members of the party to see the fast approaching local government election coming up February 22nd, 2025 as a collective task ahead. He said, he believes the election is important to the party, as it will signal the chances of the PDP winning 2026 guber poll for 2nd term of glorious administration of our performing Governor Ademola Adeleke.
