Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is presiding over a virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council, which commenced at 10.00am on Wednesday morning.
The vice president chairs the meeting in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is in the United Kingdom for medical check.
Members of the Cabinet who are physical present in the Council Chambers for the meeting are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari; and Deputy Chief of Staff, Ade Ipaye.
Ministers present are those of Industry, Trade and Investment, Niyi Adebayo; Mines of Steel Development; Olamilekan Adegbite; Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami; and Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq.
The Ministers of State for Environment, Sharon Ikeazor; and Industry, Trade and Investments, Mariam Katagum are also present at the meeting.
