Makinde, Adeleke, PDP Stakeholders Storm Ilase Ijesa, for Senator Fadahunsi Empowerment Scheme

The ancient town of Ilase Ijesa, the home town of distinguished Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi received prominent PDP leaders in and outside Osun State who graced the grand finale of Senator Fadahunsi’s unique empowerment programme.

In his bid to fulfill his electoral promises to the good people of Osun East senatorial district, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi procured gargantuan empowerment tools to alleviate poverty among his constituents, mini bus known as (Korope), Sewing machines, Generators, Dryers, Fertilizer, Wheelbarrow and many more.

In his opening speech, Prof. Sola Hindero welcomed all leaders and stakeholders of Osun PDP to the events and eulogiesed Senator Francis Fadahunsi as a gift to Ilase, Osun PDP and Nigeria at large. He admonished the beneficiaries to utilize the tools in their best interest and in the overall interest of the state.

The event was agog when Osun PDP gubernatorial candidate, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke arrived the venue in the company of the Director General of the Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Hon. Sunday Bisi, the Osun West PDP Senatorial candidate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi and former Osun PDP chairman, Ahlaji Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa.

Former PDP chairman, Ahlaji Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa applauded Osun East Senator for his enormous contribution to the development of Osun East adding that only a few leader with generous minds make this kind of empowerment. Recommending the event as one of best in the history of our democracy.

The incoming governor of Osun State by the grace of God, Senator Ademola Adeleke in his address expressed gratitude to the people of Osun East for standing by the party and hailed Senator Fadahunsi for this massive empowerment, he entertained the crowd with his sweet melody and admonished all party members to work in unity for the success of the party come July 16th 2022 and the 2023 general election.

The Director General Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Hon. Sunday Bisi charged party members to be fully prepare to end the 12 years rule of APC maladministration in the state and ensure massive victory for the party in the fast approaching upcoming gubernatorial election.

Hon.Taofek Abimbola Ajilesoro, representing Ife Federal Constituency in the Green chamber emphasised the need for party victory and usher in a rebirth of Osun State. He also encouraged all party leaders, stakeholders and members to work in unison to ensure the desired victory for Osun State PDP in all polls.

The Osun PDP Ijesa South Federal House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Sanya Omirin sensitized party members on the needs to vote APC out in the upcoming elections, explained how APC have crippled the local government administration in the state and bring untold hardship to the populace, he encouraged all party members to work in harmony to achieve election victory come July 16th 2022. He equally used the avenue to announce his newbirth empowerment programe that will be taking place on Unique-fm Ara station. The program which he said was targeted at given minimum capital to more than 1000 people to start up a mini-business. He further behest Oyetola APC led administration to come out and tell the citizens of Osun State, the reason(s) his party APC should be voted again after 14years of wastefulness chronic debts.

Governor Seyi Makinde in company of all party leaders and stakeholders hand over the mini buses and several other empowerment tools to beneficiaries and applauded Senator Francis Fadahunsi for fulfilling his electoral promises to the people. He further said this kind of dividends is rare.

Other prominent personality who graced the occasion are Hon. Soji Adagunodo the South West PDP Chairman, Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi (Irekandu) and Hon Niran Akanfe Atidade, Honorable member representing Obokun and Ede South state constituencies and many prominent traditional rulers which include: the Chief Host HRM Oba Isiaka Ajarabi the Onilase of Ilase Ijesa, HRM Oba Adeyemo Adeniran, Owaomiran of Esa Oke, Olomu of Ijaregbe, HRM Alaa of Ilaa Ijesa, HRM Adooko of Idoko, HRM Alamo of Ayegbaju Ijesa, HRM Awaraja of Iwaraja, HRM, Alahun of Ilahun Ijesa, HRM, Aregun of Iregun Ijesa and many other traditional rulers.

Some notable PDP leaders who graced the august ocassion include: Hon. Mayowa Adejoorin, Hon. Hon Yemisi, Hon Lawrence Kolawole, Chief Mrs Olori Adeyeye, Chief Femi Oloka, Chief Ogunsuji, Hon Lase Longe and many more leaders of Osun State PDP across the 10 local government and the Area Council. The Caretaker chairmen, ward chairmen and excos of PDP were present.
