Loatsad Promomedia as part of its corporate social responsibility recently donated a fully equipped portable cabin to military officers stationed at the Murtala Mohammed International airport. The facility, designed to offer a secure, comfortable, and conducive environment, is aimed at supporting the officers as they diligently carry out their duties in safeguarding lives and property within the airport area.
The handover ceremony was marked by a ribbon-cutting event attended by top executives of Loatsad Promomedia, representatives of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), and senior military personnel. The event highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in ensuring the safety and well-being of security operatives working under challenging conditions.
Speaking at the event, the MD of Loatsad Promomedia Ms Sophie Ejegi emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting security and expressed appreciation for the sacrifices made by the military.
Working collaboratively with our management and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), we envisioned a structure that is not only functional but also sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and above all, comfortable. This cabin is a result of that vision — designed to support the well-being of those who serve on the front lines every day. We believe they deserve a secure and safe environment while they serve the nation,” she said.
The acting MD of FAAN Dr. Luqman Emiola expressed gratitude for the thoughtful donation, describing it as a timely intervention that will enhance operational efficiency and boost morale. The portable cabin is equipped with essential amenities and will serve as a rest and coordination point for officers on duty.
The GM Advertising FAAN, Hajia Mariam Nasir, also expressed her sincere gratitude for the lauable project and called for further collaborations between FAAN and other stakeholders to drive sustainable developments.
This donation underscores the growing role of private organizations in complementing government efforts to support security and public service across the country.
