Obisesan Distributes 150 Free JAMB Forms to Students in Obokun/Oriade

No fewer than 150 students from Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency benefited from free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms distributed by House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Engr. Babalola Obisesan, popularly known as BABS, on Friday.

The distribution programme, held at the PDP Party House in Obokun Local Government Area, drew party members, stakeholders, parents and students from across the constituency.

Speaking at the event, the Obokun Local Government Chairman, Hon. Olajire Agboola, commended Obisesan for the gesture, describing it as a significant investment in the future of young people in the area.

“We really appreciate BABS Babalola Obisesan. May God answer your prayers too. We are so happy with this gesture. As members of the PDP, we love every candidate contesting under our party and we are pledging our undivided loyalty once again,” Agboola said.

He also urged party faithful to continue supporting the administration of Ademola Adeleke, noting that the initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to promote education and youth development in the state.
“This programme is meant to promote His Excellency. Let us continue the good work by telling others,” he added.

Agboola stressed that the initiative underscores a collective commitment to securing a better future for the younger generation.
“These children are our future and we are fighting for their future. May God help them all,” he said.

In his welcome address, the Oriade LG Chairman, Prince Adeloye Samuel, highlighted the importance of education at all levels, urging beneficiaries to take full advantage of the opportunity.

“Anyone who says education is nothing should try ignorance. Education has stages. My advice to all beneficiaries is to make use of it in the right way, so that BABS will be proud of you when he eventually wins his election,” Samuel said.

The scholarship support, which reportedly includes 60 beneficiaries from Oriade under the BABS initiative, was received with enthusiasm by students and parents, many of whom described it as timely relief amid prevailing economic challenges.
