BABS Distributes 120 Free JAMB Forms to Students in Obokun/Oriade

A philanthropist and leading candidate of the House of Representatives, Obokun/ Oriade Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Babalola Obisesan, popularly known as BABS, on Friday distributed no fewer than 120 free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to students across the constituency.

The distribution exercise, held at the PDP Party House in the Obokun/Oriade Local Government area, attracted party leaders, stakeholders, parents, and students.

Speaking on the aims of the initiative, Hon. Obisesan who was represented by the coordinators, said the initiative was part of his commitment to supporting education and complementing the efforts of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, in advancing development in the state.

According to him, the gesture was aimed at empowering young people in the constituency and encouraging them to pursue higher education.

“I am a lover of progress and the empowerment of our people. This initiative is to further support the good work of Governor Ademola Adeleke and to assure our constituents that more developmental programmes are still ahead,” he said.

In his remarks, the Oriade Local Government Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Adeyekun, commended Obisesan for the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful.

“We really appreciate BABS for this laudable gesture. May God answer your prayers. We are happy with this support for our students. As members of the PDP, we reaffirm our loyalty to the party and all its candidates,” he said.

He urged party members to continue promoting the administration of Governor Adeleke, noting that the programme was also in support of the governor’s vision for educational advancement.

“These children are our future, and we must continue to fight for their future. May God help them succeed,” he added.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Obokun PDP Chairman, Hon. Olajire Agboola , emphasised the value of education, urging beneficiaries to make judicious use of the opportunity.

“Anyone who says education is nothing should try ignorance. Education has stages. I advise all beneficiaries to take this opportunity seriously and make BABS proud in the future,” he said.


Dignitaries present at the event included party chairmen, Councillors,Ward Chairmen in Obokun/Oriade, party members, stakeholders, parents, and students among others.
