The management of Adeleke University has refuted reports alleging that Monimichelle Sports, the contractor handling the Osogbo Stadium project, constructed the university’s sports complex.
In a press statement signed by Mrs. Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni, Managing Director of Adeleke University Ventures Ltd on Thursday
According to the statement, the university authorities do not know the company referenced and have no information regarding its ownership or operations.
The management clarified that the university’s sports facilities were executed by a completely different contractor and not Monimichelle Sports as alleged in the report.
The institution therefore urged members of the public and media organisations to disregard what it described as an inaccurate narrative linking the company to the university’s sports complex.
The statement further advised the public to contact the university’s official communications office for verified information concerning projects undertaken by the institution.
