Wife of Osun State governor, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke on Thursday paid a visit to the survivors of Ode-Omu motor accident at Osun State Teaching Hospital (formerly LAUTECH), Osogbo.
Recall that the crash which occurred last weekend claimed 16 lives and injured some passengers.
Mrs Adeleke, who also sympathized with the families of those who lost their lives in the accident, thanked the good samaritans who rescued and brought the survivors to the hospital.
“I condoled with the families of victims who lost their lives in the accident and thanked the good samaritans who rescued and brought the survivors to the hospital.
“I pledged to submit the report of my visitation to the State Governor to facilitate financial and material support of the state government for the victim,” she said.
Speaking, the deputy CMD of the hospital and Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, appreciated the kind gesture of Mrs Adeleke and also described the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke as one which is passionate about the welfare of the people.
He however, assured that the hospital management will continue to provide quality medical services in saving lives.
Speaking on behalf of other survivors, a survivor who is a native of Ede town and a student of the department of Health Technician, Crestfield College of Health Technology, Erin Osun, lauded the Governor’s wife for the unexpected visit being paid to them.
