NYSC Osun State has commenced the three weeks Orientation Course for the 2150 Corps Members deployed to the State and those dislodged from Lagos State.
The Prospective Corps Members were welcomed warmly by members of staff, security operatives and other collaborating agencies who have been working with the Scheme progressively to ensure the smooth running of all camp activities.
Platoon inspectors and other camp officials have also ensured the hitch free registration process, kitting, allocation of rooms and issuance of instructional materials to the Prospective Corps Members.
The PCMs were therefore charged by the State Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma, before the commencement of registration, to pay attention to details and to instructions given to them during documentation. He also charged them to comport themselves in a disciplined and respectful manner as they go about their registration.
A total of 1700 PCMs have been deployed to Osun State for the service year and 450 dislodged from Lagos State for the three weeks Orientation Course.
Rehearsals towards the Swearing-in and Official Opening Ceremony coming up on Friday has equally commenced in earnest.
