The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated the management, students, and staff of INTERLINK POLYTECHNIC, Ijebu Ijesha on their 3rd Convocation ceremony held over the weekend
During his address at the event, he applauded the foresight and vision of the founder of the school for establishing the institution in the state.
Adeleke, who was represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Education in the state, Hon Dipo Eluwole affirms the readiness of the state government to partner with private establishments for the progress of the state especially as it concerns the educational sector.
The Governor in his address, admonished the graduands to be a good ambassador of the school and the state in wherever endeavours they find themselves in the next phase of their life.
The Commissioner for Education, Hon Dipo Eluwole, restate the commitment of the Imole administration in the state to support the school in any area of their request.
The proprietor of the school, Mrs Kanmi-Alo, while responding appreciate the Governor for granting them audience in being part of the event through the Commissioner for Education.
She also applauded the efforts of the state government in reshaping the educational sector of the state with the several reforms already outlined to be carried out with one of it being the Educational Summit being setup by the state government.
She however presented some of the requests of the school to the representative of the Governor with the belief that some of their requests will be granted by the people’s Governor of the state.
Part of the highlight of the event is the prize giving session to the best graduating student’s in the school, commissioning of an administrative building of the institution and beautiful rendition of a song specifically composed for Governor Ademola Adeleke by the music department of the school.
The permanent secretary, Ministry of Education in the state, Mr M.K Jimoh, was among the dignitaries at the event.
