In commemoration of Hijrah 1446 AH, the First Lady of Osun state, Titilola Adeleke on Monday felicitate with Muslim faithfuls across the globe and Osun state especially, on the start of New Islamic Lunar Calendar.
This was contained in her congratulatory message on Muharram 1st signalling the start of a fresh Hijrah 1446 calendar.
She charges Muslim faithfuls across the state to sustain the teachings and lessons Hijrah exhibits and typified by Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Adeleke urged them to use this special period to re-dedicate themselves more piously to the faith and pray for continuos oneness and prosperity of Nigeria and Osun state in particular.
“I congratulates our Muslim brothers and sisters on the new Islamic year, Hijrah 1446, thanking Almighty Allah (SWA) for the blessings of the year past, we beseech him to bless the new year abundantly for us all, grant unto us tranquility among our other desires”, She concluded.
