Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has urged youths to repair,rebuild and reconstruct the state and Nation as a whole.
The Governor made the call on Friday during the occasion of swearing-in opening ceremony of the 2024 batch B stream 11 orientation course for corps members deployed to Osun state at the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Ede Osun state.
Governor Adeleke who was represented by his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi stated their obedience to the clarion call us to contribute their quota to the integration, development and unity of the nation.
He, also implored them to repair ,rebuild and reconstruct a Nation threatened by forces of division according to the Nigeria anthem ” in brotherhood we stand,Nigerians all are proud to servel our Sovereign motherland”.
He said, “I felicitate with you gentlemen Corps Members on your successful call up fo the service year. Your obedience to the clarion call to contribute your quota to the integration, development and unity of our Nation is a testament to your love and patriotic zeal for our nation, Nigeria
“Your call to service is to repair,rebuild and reconstruct a nation threatened by forces of division,but as our anthem states and I affirm ” in brotherhood we stand. Nigerian all are proud to serve our sovering motherland”.
Adeleke also assured the Corps members of absolute security welfare throughout their service year
“The government remains steadfast in ensuring the security and welfare of all corps members throughout their service year. Measures have been put to safeguard your well-being and we urge you to avail yourselves of the support systems provided as we are committed to providing a safe and conductive environment for your personal and professional development.
“I commend the effort of the Management of the NYSC Scheme, both at the national and state levels, for their tireless work in organizing this Orientation Course and overseeing the successful implementation of the NYSC program. I also commend you for your unwavering dedication to the welfare and development of the Corps Members deployed to the State and those deployed from Lagos State. He added
