“A Dream Come True” – Osun residents hails Governor Adeleke’s Infrastructure Development

The Residents of Osun state has described the recent infrastructure development across the state by the state Government under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke as “A dream come true”.

The citizens are thrilled with Adeleke’s ongoing projects which have transformed the state’s landscape. The Governor’s initiave received praises and applause during an interview with newmen on Monday in Osogbo, the state capital.

While speaking, Mr Jaiyeola Olasunkanmi commended the state government for not being selfish, for the only way every citizens can enjoy from a government is through projects because not everyone will be able to receive salary from the government.

He, also urged all citizens to be patience to give the government and the contractors enough time to complete the road project, so as to avoid poor result at the end of the construction.

He said, “This project is a very good one, actually and it’s a good development that’s going to be a remarkable project from the state government. I noticed that, everyone is not receiving salary but everyone will benefit from this project. Some years back if you want to move from Olaiya, it was somehow difficult but right now, it’s more accessible and it’s motorable.

“We are heading to dry season and there’s time for them to complete this project, I will not advise them to rush it, just like they rushed Olaiya bridge project, Olaiya bridge was rushed and that’s the reason we’re having issues with it now. So the contractors shouldn’t rush at all. He advised.

In an interview with newsmen, Pastor Dr Oluwole Ojerinde, emphasized that the ongoing road dualization and flyovers are dream come true in his lifetime.

“I’m so happy that in my lifetime I can see this wonderful job being done by the present government. It’s really wonderful and I’m so happy the government can think of alleviating the suffering of the masses and then bringing good things that’s happening abroad, to this present Osun state, it’s a wonderful job.

” I pray that God will empower him and give him the grace to do more and more for the citizens of this state.” He prayed.

Earlier in his address, The Director, Highways Osun state Ministry of Works and Infrastructure,Engr Moruf Ojebode, disclosed that the flyover completion is at 70 percent and it will be commissioned by January.

” I can tell you that the physical and percentagethere now is around 70 percent completion. By the grace of God, our target for the commissioning is January, by January ending the project would have been completed.

“Just a few out of different mega project that we’re undertaking, we move to intercity road project, currently as I speak with you we have almost completed Ede, Egbedi, Erin Osun road. Inter-city are roads that connect two or three cities altogether and that road is about 6 kilometer length. And we’ll be ready for commissioning possibly this month.

“Similarly, we’re about completing Otan Ayegbaju to Iresi road, it’s one of the inter-city road project around 6 kilometer length. Same thing apply to Telemu, close to Iwo which has been completed already.

“When it comes to intra-city, in Osogbo alone, we have completed about 7 intra city road, one of it is Orioke Pure water to Ona Baba Ona, we have Peter Ajibola Miracle center river side, with Igbalaye Adewumi street, we have John Micay to Costain. We have Oja Oba, Iso isu, iso ege, asubiaro road, we have a lot just to mention few. He explained
