Gov Adeleke is set to embark on New Infrastructural Projects across Osun -PS Works

Budgetary allocation to the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure for the year 2025 will be judiciously spent to complete ongoing road projects across Osun State with the launch of new  infrastructural projects in all the nooks and crannies of the state

The  Permanent Secretary, Osun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engineer Bashir Bello disclosed this when he featured on Imole Ayo, an enlightenment  programme which promotes the activities of Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration on OSBC channels 

Engineer Bello who spoke through the Director of Highways, Engineer Maruf Ojebode mentioned a few of the new road projects to include, dual carriage way from Ikirun to Ila Odo, Osogbo to Iwo, and the first ever dual carriage way in Iwo township 

 He added on-going road projects and new ones will be done simultaneously in line with  Governor Ademola Adeleke's resolve,to expand infrastructure across the state.

 According to the PS works and infrastructure,  government will intensify efforts on the construction of inter city and intra city roads this year to ease the stress being encountered by people traveling within the state

 He added that under the Imole light up Osun, solar powered lights will be installed on all local and state governments roads that have been completed pointing out that installation of polls has already begun on newly constructed Shasha market road along UNIOSUN main campus in Osogbo 

While calling on those who are yet to benefit from the infrastructural development of the present administration in the state to exercise patience, Engineer Ojebode reiterated that, no area will be left out

 He urged the people to desist from dumping sand, refuse, oil or diesel on the road, saying these ugly practices are capable of shortening the lifespan of roads###
