Former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Taraba State, Abdulmumini Vaki is dead.
He was aged 56-year old.
He died at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Jalingo after an undisclosed brief illness.
Vaki was a founding member of the PDP in the state and made significant contributions to its growth.
Andeta’rang Irammae, the state’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), described his death as a rude shock.
He noted that the vacuum he left will be hard to fill.
Many party supporters have been trooping his house in Jalingo to sympathise with the family.
