The National Information Technology Development Agency has begun a comprehensive capacity building training on digitization for Court of Appeal justices.
The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, represented by the Director-General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, described the training as timely, saying the judiciary has a critical role to play in the actualization of the nation’s digitization.
“The rise in threats of ungoverned spaces which have pervaded the world has necessitated the need for the NITDA to collaborate with the Court of Appeal through a comprehensive capacity building for its Justices with the aim of protecting the country’s democracy and security’’, a statement yesterday by NITDA quoted the minister to have said.
“It’s imperative for the judiciary as a strategic partner in the development of the nation’s economy to fully embrace the adoption of Information and Communications Technology in order to improve its work processes and enhance productivity”, Pantami said.
