On the 15th of January 2022,) 267 new confirmed cases and 3 deaths were recorded in Nigeria, according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Till date, 250628 cases have been confirmed, 223765 cases have been discharged and 3095 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 267 new cases are reported from 10 States – Delta (160), Osun (27), FCT (22), Gombe (17), Cross River (16), Enugu (13), Rivers (6), Ekiti (4), Kaduna (1), and Kano (1)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
