The Osun governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on his emergence as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 presidential election, describing the successful conduct of the primary as a clear indication that the PDP is ready to get Nigeria back on track.
The PDP governorship candidate, according to a congratulatory message personally signed by him said the emergence of Alhaji Atiku was the clearest indication that the PDP is unyielding in its quest to halt the negative trends that has been the reality of the country in the past seven year.
“I congratulate His Excellency , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for clinching the PDP nomination for the 2023 presidential election,” he said in the congratulatory message.
“Alhaji Atiku has a remarkable ability to turn a hopeless situation around for good, to harness the abundance of human and natural resources at the reach of the country to better the lives of citizens, and rally Nigerians to see each other as one.”
Senator Adeleke commended aspirants in the primary for not losing focus on the single objective of getting Nigeria out of the abyss, noting that everyone is a winner.
“My congratulations also extend to all the aspirants in the primary for running inspiring campaigns that have reinforced hopes, brought Nigerians to the realization that they can actually exit the unfortunate experience of the APC-led government,” he noted.
“This makes everyone a winner and I am proud of their dedications and commitment to the goal of making Nigeria better.”
Senator Adeleke stressed the need for everyone to unite behind Alhaji Atiku in the task to fix Nigeria, saying that “this is not time to sit on the sidelines but to come together for the single purpose of ending the ugly experience of APC misrule.”
“Clearly, the job of the next President is to repair the damages of the APC maladministration on Nigeria and restore the country’s on the path of unity, growth and development,” he said.
“If anything, Alhaji Atiku has proven to be a unifier and even more, a man with incredible ability to lead Nigeria out of the many challenges currently facing it, and bring about the country that can meet expectations.”
