…Extols his excellent leadership style
The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE), Osun State Branch, has presented award of life Patron to Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke at the grand finale to mark Year 2023 NULGE week, which took place at the Local Government Service Commission Field, State Secretariat, Abere.
While presenting the award, the State President of NULGE, Comrade (Dr.)Kehinde Ogungbangbe described the Governor as uncommon talent that Osun has ever had at the helm of affairs in the State, accounting his achievements, within his short time in the saddle, as monumental.
Other awardees at the event were: the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, who was presented Patron award; the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Kasim Akinleye and NULGE National President, Comrade Akeem Olatunji Ambali were also given award of excellence, among others.
In his response, the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, described workers as indispensable catalyst in nation building.
The State helmsman, who congratulated local government workers for the privilege of having his Deputy, SSG, Chief of Staff and the Local Government Commissioner as former local government Chairmen, enthused that with these caliber of men in key positions in his administration, who are are conversant with the workings and needs at the grassroot, it will not be difficult to get their needs met.
The Governor therefore admonished them to continue adhering to service rules, promising to look into all their legitimate demands in order to further the course of local government service system.
