Violent Threats Cannot Stop Your Defeat on August 15 – Adeleke Campaign Organization Knocks Bola Oyebamiji

The Adeleke Campaign Organization condemns the desperate and violence oriented strategy being flaunted and celebrated by Bola Oyebamiji, declaring that violent threats and dining with gangsters cannot stop Governor Ademola Adeleke’s victory on August 15th.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the organisation described as “desperate and violence-oriented” what it called the APC candidate’s political strategy, alleging that threats and associations with controversial figures were being deployed to influence voters.

The organization specifically criticized Oyebamiji’s alleged links with individuals identified as D’Law and Asiri Eniba, claiming that such associations reflect a campaign driven by intimidation rather than policy-based engagement with the electorate.

“Mr Oyebamiji’s open fraternization with controversial figures such as D’Law and Asiri Eniba is a confession that the APC candidate has nothing to offer the people of Osun beyond intimidation optics, warlord politics, and a campaign devoid of ideas.

“Let it be made abundantly clear that Osun is not scared or cowed. There won’t be any surrender to brute force. The force of the masses will swallow all anti-democratic forces. We affirm that this reckless attempt to assault, threaten and intimidate through association with criminal elements exposes an opposition candidate already overwhelmed, outmatched, and out of the race.

“Rather than present a coherent manifesto, the APC candidate has chosen the path of provocation and gangster optics, surrounding himself with figures whose public reputations raise more questions than confidence.

“We warn, unequivocally, that Osun voters are resolute. Our people are not intimidated, distracted, or manipulated by these criminal tactics. Every move like this only reinforces the fact that Osun APC candidacy is built on shaky ground and cannot withstand the test of public judgment.

“August 15 will be decided by credibility, performance, and trust, not by theatrics or alliances of inconvenience. On that day, no amount of posturing will shield this APC failing campaign from the verdict of the people”, the statement concluded.
