Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) is set to partner with Bulgarian Alumni Association (BAA) in the area of exchange in several sectors which includes trade and education and also to facilitate the signing of an existing draft MoU with the Bulgaria Chamber of Commerce.
This was made known when a three-man delegation from BAA paid a courtesy call to ACCI to seek collaboration and partnership while also leveraging ACCI’s experience of trade fairs and other business activities.
The Director General ACCI, Victoria Akai represented by the General Counsel ACCI, Aisha Ado Abdullahi explained details of the activities of the Chamber to the team while adding that the visit was a good step to fast-track the signing of the existing draft MoU.
She suggested that the MoU should be reviewed for updates and modifications adding that B2B meetings should be organized by both parties to broaden the understanding of members.
The BAA’s president, Dr. Ibiwari L. Jack, while acknowledging and commending the experiences of ACCI in trade fairs also sought the opportunity to leverage on experiences of ACCI as well as ACCI leveraging on their experiences and ideas for robust relationships.
He suggested further that a committee should be set up nominating members from both parties that will oversee the activities of the project.
You may recall that ACCI and the Bulgaria Chamber of Commerce had an existing relationship with the aim of creating a mutual relationship that pertains to commerce and industry.
