Multitalented afrobeat singer David Adeleke (Davido) has announced his acquisition of a new private jet.
Davido, on his X page announced the development on “BOMBARDIER 7500 TEAR RUBBER ! ”
According to some sources, the new private jet acquired by the global music star is valued at N102billion ($78M)
The Afrobeat sensation had just completed some shows in some East African countries where a faculty was named after him in a University in Ugandan.
Recently, the music star donated over three hundred million naira (#300,000,000:00) to diverse number of Orphanage Homes in Nigeria, which several orphanage homes in Osun benefitted from, an humanitarian gesture that has been commended by Netizens for his act of benevolence
The multiple award winning music star had announced via his verified X handle on the 20th of February 2024 that he will be donating N300M To Orphanage Homes in Nigeria, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow 🇳🇬”, he tweeted via @davido.
He followed it up further the following day by sharing screenshot of the transaction details of the money already deposited into the account of his foundation “We Rise By Lifting Others (WRBLO).”

He thereafter announced the shortlisted and verified chosen Orphanage Homes in Nigeria that will benefit from his donation
