Osun State Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Sesan Oyedele, has disclosed that the Palliative Transit Buses, being prepared for the use of Osun residents to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal will be ready for use by November.
The Commissioner revealed this on Thursday at the maiden edition of ‘Ipade Imole’, a programme organized by the office of the Spokesperson to Mr Governor for the the governor to give account of his stewardship.
Oyedele, who was invited by Governor Adeleke to brief the people, told the audience that the buses which are being prepared will cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal on residents.
He added that more buses will be procured in addition to the ones already being refurbished for the use of Osun people.
The Commissioner further explained that the buses will be distributed round the State with a view to easing the movement of people from one point to the other.
