Biden,wife condemn Las Vegas campus shooting

The United States President, Joe Biden, and his wife, Jill, have condemned the attack on the students of the University of Nevada that took place in Las Vegas.

The gunman left at least six people dead and several more injured in the mass shooting that occured on Wednesday.

Biden’s statement was made known on the President Of America’s official X handle (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.

According to Biden, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas has become the latest college campus to be terrorized by a horrific act of gun violence.

The President has promised citizens that his administration would do everything to curb gun violence in the country.

The post read, “Jill and I join citizens across our nation in praying for the families of our fallen, ad for those injured and during these latest acts of senseless violence.

“We are grateful for the courageous work of law enforcement – who risked their own safety to bring an end to these deadly shooting sprees.

“For all the action we have taken since I’ve been President, the epidemic of gun violence we face demands that we do more, but we can’t without Congress.

“Together, we must do more to prevent more families and communities like Austin, San Antonio, and Las Vegas, from being ripped apart by gun violence”.
