In a remarkable show of unity and spiritual solidarity, the Forum of Special Advisers in Osun State convened a Special Prayer Session dedicated to the continued success, good health, and divine protection of His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Jackson Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, Executive Governor of Osun State.
The prayers also extended to prominent members of the Adeleke Dynasty, including Dr. Deji Adeleke and Yeye Sanni Modupeola Adeleke, whose tremendous support and contributions to the development of Osun State remain commendable. The Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, and the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, were also specially remembered in prayers, alongside other members of the executive cabinet.
The Forum, under the leadership of its Chairman, Dr. Adekunle Akindele, reaffirmed its loyalty and commitment to the vision and administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, while calling on divine grace for his resounding victory in the 2026 Gubernatorial Election. Special intercessions were also made for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), asking for its continued strength, unity, and dominance in Osun State and beyond.
A critical part of the prayer session also focused on the release of the seized Local Government Allocations, which has impeded grassroots development. The Forum prayed fervently for federal intervention and resolution, so that Osun citizens at the local level can fully benefit from democratic dividends.
As part of the program, a Health Awareness Lecture was delivered by Dr. Rasaq Akindele, who enlightened attendees on the importance of regular medical checkups, mental wellness, reproductive health and adopting healthy lifestyles, especially for those in public service.
The Special Advisers emphasized that with God’s guidance and the people’s support, the Adeleke-led administration will continue to soar and deliver on its promise of good governance, equity, and inclusive development.
