National Grid: Ilesa community condemns IBEDC disconnection act over debt of few customers

Residents of Sawmill Alfa and Community school area of Ilesa have condemned the disconnection of the entire community from the national grid by the IBEDC Ilesa Office due to the debt owed by a few customers

The residents gave the electricity distribution company 24-hour ultimatum to restore the electricity or face a legal consequence.

One of the aggrieved residents, Prince Aluko said it was a breach of contract for the IBEDC to disconnect his residence from the national grid when he was not owing the company.

He warned that failure of the company to correct the abnormalities would lead to litigation.

The Abuja business based tycoon said he came back from a business trip yesterday only to learn that his community had been thrown into darkness because a quatom numbers people owed some electricity bills .
