The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended his condolences to the family of the late Alhaji Halilu Kundila, the Kano State House of Assembly member representing Bagwai/Shanono constituency, who passed away last Sunday after a brief illness.
This Was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Tuesday.
Governor Yusuf characterized the late Haliliu Kundila as a grassroots politician who dedicated himself diligently to the welfare of humanity.
“I was deeply shocked by the news of the passing of Alhaji Haliliu Ibrahim Kundila, the Kano State House of Assembly member representing the Bagwai/Shanono constituency, a politician who tirelessly worked towards the progress not only of his local community or Kano State but the entire nation.
“We trust that Allah SWT will grant him peace, pardon his failings, and abundantly reward his righteous deeds.
“On behalf of the government and the esteemed people of Kano State, I implore the Almighty Allah, the Most Exalted, to grant his soul eternal peace, may Jannatul Firdausi be his final resting place, and may his family find the strength to cope with this significant loss,” prayed the governor.
The late Haliliu Ibrahim Kundila, survived by wives and children, served as the representative for the Bagwai/Shanono constituency in the State House of Assembly until his passing last Sunday.
